North Simcoe Muskoka Patient Family Advisory Council
North Simcoe Muskoka's Patient Family Advisory Council provide dialogue and advice on issues and perspectives related to health system goals and objectives, as a way of achieving person-centred health care within the local North Simcoe Muskoka.
The Advisory Panel typically meets 4 times per year, or as needed, and Membership is extended to all North Simcoe Muskoka residents*.
Meetings require some pre-reading or preparatory time for members. Meeting packages and materials are distributed approximately one week in advance (as available) and we ask that you come prepared for discussion based on personal experiences as a patient or informal caregiver.
*Residents who are employed or serve on Boards of LHIN-funded health service provider or other health care agency may not be considered due to potential conflict(s) of interest.
